Director / Executive Producer
Perry is a filmmaker, editor, actor, screenwriter, music producer and musician whose artistic works embodies creativity and perfection. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York, an MBA and Master of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami, an advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering from Touro College in NYC, a finance certificate from NYU and an associate degree in Film Production Technology from the Miami Dade College Film Program. He is the president and founder of a south Florida based Production Company called NITERBOYS ENTERTAINMENT, LLLC.
As a musician, he was a founder member and bassist of a NY based band named ETNIK (now defunct). During his tenure with the band, he recorded two albums. The first album was recorded in 1992 and the second was recorded in 1996. Perry has also a solo CD in the works which is rumored to be released in early 2012.
As a screenwriter, he has written several screenplays including the screenplay for the short film entitled A LITTLE INTIMIDATION which was nominated in the 2006 South Beach Incubator Film Festival.
As a filmmaker, his film experience include many roles, such as; Director Of Photography, Assistant Director, Script supervisor, Line Producer and Camera Operator in thirty short and feature films. As an actor, he has acted in the capacity of a lead and many supporting roles. Perry has also directed and edited seven music videos which won awards. His music video works for such artists as: DOUG GORDON, J*U*N*E, INTESEED, TANTAN, ETC. most which can be seen on YouTube. He has also written, directed and edited three commercials. Recently, he has also produced two Reality Shows.
This film is Perry's narrative feature directorial debut. It also won the Best Drama Award at a festival and was also featured at other festivals. Perry is currently completing his second narrative feature film entitled A MISTAKEN LOOK (2011) which is scheduled to be released during the Summer of 2011.
